White House Condemns 'Democratic Fabrication' as Further Epstein Estate Photos Made Public
House Democrats have made public a new tranche of what they described as "alarming" photographs from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The first release of 19 images—a portion of which have been seen before—combined with another 70 released later on Friday represent a small number of the approximately 100,000 images provided to the House oversight committee, which is looking into the behavior and associations of Epstein.
The shamed investor died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking offenses.
Prominent Personalities in the Photos
Among the prominent personalities shown in the first release are well-known figures featuring film director Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin empire.
Donald Trump is pictured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are redacted.
White House Statement
The White House addressed the release in a official comment, accusing Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the photographs for partisan aims and to "attempt to fabricate a false storyline."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a presidential representative said, asserting that "the Trump administration has achieved more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for openness, releasing reams of records, and urging additional probes into Epstein's Democratic associates."
Congressional Democrat Statement
The photographs were released without context, but as stated by a California Democrat and senior member of the investigative panel, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's connections to affluent people.
"The moment has come to halt this White House concealment and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he declared in a statement.
The disclosure of these documents coincides with the House panel continuing its probe into the Epstein matter.
