Soccer Expert Chris Sutton Battles Artist Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
Arsenal's ten-match victorious streak came to an end by Sunderland prior to the international hiatus, but will the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against north London rivals Spurs this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked soccer specialist Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, versus artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of guests.
In the twelfth round, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.
Murs' new record, Knees Up, is available on Friday.

Olly is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of several Soccer Aid games down the years - but he is not intending a professional return as a footballer.
"{I actually played in a charity match the other night for a friend of mine," he explained. "My team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I still love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too risky for me in my career to do it seriously again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my child or boy chooses to play instead."
The singer and his spouse Amelia Tank have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.
"I will not push football on our children but I've previously told my wife that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their Saturday football team," he added.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a period too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I inherited it. He coached our team for two or three seasons and had great fun with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Predictions
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for their star's return from injury but their offense is already more potent with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
In my opinion this game will be fairly tight, however. Burnley are disciplined and their sole home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.
It suggests a one-all tie to me, but I am actually going to go with Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
Olly's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
AI's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their past two matches - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which shocked me.
In contrast, the Hammers secured two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they do look strong again.
The Hammers' sole on the road win this season came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when West Ham boss Nuno was still Forest coach.
So, what on earth do I go with here - can the Hammers extending their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I am going to go with the Cherries, because I believe what happened against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
The guest's prediction: The home team are doing well but the visitors have improved under their boss. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the season began, but they have impressed a several observers under their manager and are in fine fettle with three wins in their past four matches.
My son told me to select Bees striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will likely score again on Saturday but I am still not going to pick him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great success on the road this term, and the Seagulls are always strong at home. The visitors will attempt to attack on the break but I think Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a danger.
Sutton's prediction: 2-1
Olly's prediction: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of goals but it actually proves to be quite close. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a huge fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six matches.
They have got lots of quality in their team but it nonetheless feels like they could be dragged into a drop zone fight.
As for Sunderland, well they are the surprise package of the top flight season so far.
The away side's performance in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We have not seen any other team disrupt the Gunners like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.
The logical choice to do to support the visitors here, because they are obviously able of roughing the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of October.
However I am not going to do that. Rather, I really need to continue going against Sunderland with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive outcomes because they clearly enjoy to defy my predictions.
Looking at Fulham's home form, the sole team they have lost to is the league leaders. Their manager's team will be extremely eager for a good result, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a bad streak... but they have nonetheless been respectable at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a hard one to predict. Liverpool have suffered seven of their last ten matches in all competitions, but could they be one of the sides who benefit from the {international break|
