Loyal fans of the actress are urging that a person who leaped a barrier and touched the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating clip depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside photographers and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade accompanied by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "released after being arrested", though official papers revealed that he was set to attend court on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a performance. His Instagram account contains recordings of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the area last December.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is obviously a punishable act," wrote an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous fans blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a devastating incident at the end of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented one more response on Instagram.

Some supporters also criticised security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while others requested social media platforms to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Hundreds of fans had congregated in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be released on 21 November, is the sequel of a two-film adaptation of the popular Broadway and West End show Wicked, which revolves around the surprising relationship between two contrasting witches.

The production itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning film of 2024 in the UK, and scored a dozen award recognitions, winning a pair for outstanding attire and artistic direction.
